Falcons School Donate Over 50 Pairs of Boots

Falcons Big Boot Drop 2021

October 2021:   Earlier in the year RugbyBootBank® was delighted to hear once again that Falcons School in Richmond had organised a Big Boot Drop in support of RugbyBootBank®.  Driven by PTA stalwart Judith le Fleming with the full support of Headteacher Miss Buchanan and Class Representatives, the school called on all pupils and their parent to drop into school any previously loved but no longer needed football and rugby boots, to pass on to children who might be in need.

Judith got in touch with the team at RugbyBootBank® through the Wooden Spoon - the children's charity of rugby (which the school continues to support) and said...

"Speaking from experience, my son’s feet are growing so fast that he manages one term of football or rugby and then the boots are too small, yet they are always in excellent condition still and could be given a new life with a child in need".

Three full boxes of boots were collected and received at RugbyBootBank® HQ in Kent and each boot had been cleaned and all were ready for sorting and distributing.

A huge thank you to all pupils (and parents) for making this super effort and helping ensure #NoBoots is #NoBarrier to playing rugby.
